Football Training

Did you know that during winter time, when most of the football championships in Northern Europe have to be interrupted because of the harsh weather conditions, Cyprus enjoys a mild winter with temperatures 15 to 20  degrees and six  days of sunny weather for every cloudy or rainy day? This makes Cyprus the perfect place for the winter training breaks.

We at The Aliathon Holiday Village have the infrastructure to accommodate football team's needs.  Our two, on site, privately owned football pitches, along with our spacious apartments  make us the perfect choice.

A detailed presentation of the facilities offered:

• Two Football Pitches are located within our premises, only 300 meters away from our Village, therefore no transfer is required. Pitches dimensions one 100m by 80m and one 80m by 60m.
• Gym for light fitness is made available, free of charge, together with massage table and physiotherapy room.
• Sauna available FREE.
• Table Tennis, Video Games, Pool table.
• Tennis Court (Hard Surface), Daylight: Free
• Storage and Conference Rooms for possible meetings: Free
• Two Outdoor Bowling Greens (13 rinks)
• Laundry service available at a small charge (self service laundry available)
• Drink Package with meals and balanced menus.
• Friendly games may be arranged on request (subject to availability) together with a referee team.
• Our Food and Beverage Department will be glad to assist for any food special requirements that be necessary.
• Welcome Cocktail Reception offered by the Hotel Management: Free
• Welcome Pack in room on arrival, which includes (Bread, Milk, Instant Coffee, Tea, Sugar, Jam, Butter).
• Lobby area for cards and social games by the fireplace (Winter Period).
• Nearby, 800 m, Olympic Swimming Pool

Green Bowling Training

Green Bowling Teams can also be accommodated in The Aliathon Holiday Village and have their training sessions.

Available facilities include:

• The  Bowling Greens are on site, therefore no transfer is required.
• The Green Bowl: All weather flat Bowling Greens (23metres X 37 metres and 37m X 37m). 9 international or 13 domestic standard rinks,  installed by Greengauge of Scotland with their Latest bowls Carpet and subsoil drainage system. Night lighting at a small charge.
• Surface shoes of all sizes at a small charge.
• Bowling – Bowl set: available at a small charge.
• Gym for light fitness: Free
• Hard surface Tennis Court – daytime: Free
• Sauna available at a charge.
• Friendly games may be arranged in advance with our locally based British Aliathon Bowling Club (The only local Bowling Club on the island).
• No games available on Wednesdays and Sundays due to Local Club members obligations.
• Free welcome pack in rooms on arrival, which includes Bread, Milk, Instant Coffee, Tea, Sugar, Jam, Butter.
• Group Leader free on terms booked, if group consists of at least 15 full paying guests.
• Welcome Cocktail Reception offered by the Hotel Management.
• Lobby area for cards and social games by the fire place (Winter Period).
• Guests staying at the Aliathon enjoy free of charge bowling (with prior reservstion)
• Double sided score boards at each rink

We have set-up in our village all necessary infrastructure to accommodate the FIRST REAL MOUNTAIN BIKE CENTER OPERATED BY A HIGH PROFILE PROFESSIONAL WITH EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD.

We are proud to inform you that our bungalow style village surrounded by fields together with the perfect climate condition of Cyprus over the mild winter months makes it the ideal place for bike individuals and or groups for all year round.
